The doctor will ask you to move your head, arms and neck. The doctor examines the pain, movement of neck and shoulder to diagnose whiplash. In the physical examination the tenderness of neck, back and shoulder are also checked for better understanding of the issue.
Imagery diagnosis
Sometimes it is difficult to detect whiplash through physical examination. In that case imagery diagnosis helps to show the minute details of the injury for better treatment.
