X-Ray imaging

X-ray imaging is one of the main types of methods in determining if there are any broken bones at the site of the pain. This method is very fast and a painless method of determining the cause of the low back pain.

Discography

This method includes giving the patient an injection of a different dye into the spinal disc. This dye goes through the disc and outlines the areas that are damaged. The damaged area outlined by the dye is seen in the X-ray image. This method is used by the local back pain treatment center on patients who did not get relief from the pain with the conventional treatments.

Thermography

In this method infrared sensing devices are used to check if there is any differences in temperature in either sides of the body or of any organ and is used as one of the methods for determining the back pain by local back pain treatment center.
